I trust the weekend has been good to you thus far?
I came across this quote a few months back and keep meaning to share it but never got around to it-
“‘Therefore’ is a word the poet must not know.”
This is something that has always stuck with me during the writing process- never to tell the reader how they’re supposed to feel or what a piece means. You should very much reach those conclusions on your own.
