Morning All!

Came across this t-shirt today with the following message:
“a sentence will always look like poetry if you hit enter a lot”

Strangely true, especially in a lot of modern day poetry.

But it does raise an interesting question-

What really separates poetry from other forms of the written word?

I’d be interested to get your thoughts.
