Poetry should almost be a Remembrance

Morning all!
I hope the festive holidays have treated you well thus far and that you’re gearing up for an amazing 2015.
I thought I’d kick the weekend off with an extract from one of John Keats’ letters-
“Poetry should surprise by a fine excess and not by Singularity—it should strike the Reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts, and appear almost a Remembrance.”
Something all poets should aspire to, I truly believe.
