Friendship

Friendship is the most complex form of love and the hardest to balance.
A deep and meaningful friendship means allowing people into your heart, but not giving them your heart; loving them, but not allowing yourself to be in love with them; sharing your highs and lows but holding back your deepest thoughts and secrets.
Even the best of friendships will cross lines or drift apart from time to time, the trick is seeing it for what it is and nothing more. Friends change, friends make mistakes, friends come and they go- but any friendship that is worth having is worth keeping, and any gap can be bridged if a friendship is valuable enough to those involved.

In the end, the good that a true friendship does for your mind, heart, and soul will far outweigh any bad that you encounter along the shared roller coaster ride of life.
