We are the Fallen, the broken, the lost; cast from the light and cursed to seek it’s glow again for the rest of our days. Alas few find it, instead finding solace with our own kin; igniting and joining our fires in the vain hope that together we can find the warmth of the light we both seek.
But ultimately we will simply burn out and destroy each other or simply tire of the constant heat and separate, neither any closer to that which we sought. Some find an awareness of self and realise that as we are dark personified so must there be those that are light personified and in time the lucky few of these will find an angel that compliments their demon.
A being opposite to us yet equally lost and dismayed by the world before them. They are both repulsed and intrigued by the base needs of those around them and are equally drawn to their own kind in the hope that together they can better make sense of this world, but their own good natures are their downfall as they often have no spark, no fire to drive their passions.
Their purity and caring love is what saves us from damnation and in return our darkness enriches their lives and our carnal desires add colour to the white canvas of their dreams. Together we are Yin and Yang, black and white, the duality of a complete and whole human soul, perfectly balancing the light and dark and ensuring both are equally damned and saved, sharing both fates together as one.
