Poetic Contradiction 

Morning all!
Spotted this earlier today and had to share it-
“Poets are like proverbs; you can always find one to contradict another.”
Succinct and very much to the point, wouldn’t you agree?
Even within a poet’s own body of work you frequently find pieces that contradict each other. That, I suppose, is part of the beauty and freedom of the creative process.
